High School Football Games - Week Of Sept. 4

Carlisle
The Carlisle Indians will play their first home game of the season against Brookville. This will be a non-conference game. The Indians travelled to Dixie last Friday night and won by a score of 28-7. Brookville also won on the road last week with a score of 14-7 in a non-conference game against Eaton.

My prediction: Carlisle wins 21-7.

Franklin
The Franklin Wildcats will travel to Bellbrook for a conference game. Both teams kept their opponents from scoring last week. Franklin defeated Monroe at home 17-0 in a conference game and Bellbrook beat Waynesville at home 48-0 in a non-conference game.

My prediction: I think this will be a low scoring game with Franklin winning 10-7. I expect Franklin kicker Isaiah Bales to be a difference-maker in the game.

Springboro
The Springboro Panthers will play a home game against Beavercreek this week in a non-conference game. Springboro lost a close away game last week at Northmont by a score of 40-36 in a conference game. Beavercreek also lost 38-7 in a non-conference game.

My prediction: Both teams will be looking for their first win. I think Springboro will win this one 24-14.

Lebanon
The Lebanon Warriors will travel to Winton Woods this week for a conference game. Lebanon won a non-conference game at home against West Clermont last week with a score of 21-13. Winton Woods was scheduled to play Kings last week, but the game was cancelled when someone at Kings tested positive for COVID-19.

My prediction: Lebanon wins 14-7.

Waynesville
The Waynesville Spartans will play Preble Shawnee at home in a conference game. Waynesville lost last week to Bellbrook by a score of 48-0 in an away non-conference game. Prebble Shawnee defeated Madison last week at home 19-12 in a conference game.

My prediction: Prebble Shawnee wins 24-17.

Mason
The Mason Comets will travel to Lakota East for a conference matchup this week. Mason won a conference game against Fairfield last week at home by a score of 24-12. Lakota East lost an away conference game at Sycamore by a score of 34-31.

My prediction: Mason wins 42-27.

Little Miami
Little Miami Panthers will travel to Riverside this week to play a non-conference game. Little Miami lost a non-conference game against Anderson at home last week with a score of 50-40. Riverside shut out South last week 30-0 in a conference game at home.

My prediction: Little Miami wins 21-14.

Kings
The Kings Knights will travel to Anderson to play a conference game. Kings did not play last week because someone at Kings tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Anderson won an away non-conference game at Little Miami 50-40 last week.

My prediction: Anderson will beat Kings 35-17.
