Franklin High School will still celebrate homecoming week between Oct. 5 and Oct. 9.  Some of the traditional events have been postponed.

There will be a parade on Oct. 7 and the Homecoming spirit week will be still take place Oct. 5-Oct. 9 with a different theme on each day.

The Homecoming Court will be recognized at a home football game.  Since the Oct. 9 game is the first playoff game of the season, the Homecoming activities would be held before the game if it is approved by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.  If it is approved, the recognition of the Homecoming Court would take place on Oct. 9 if it is a home game.  If the Oct. 9 is an away game for the Wildcats, it would be tentatively held on Oct. 16.

There will not be a bonfire f0llowing the parade this year.

There also will not be a powerpuff game played this year, but they hope to hold the powderpuff game during Prom week in May.

There will also not be a Homecoming dance.  They hope to hold the dance later in the year in the winter or early spring.
