Bill 311 Passes The Ohio Senate

State legislators have taken a step towards limiting the power of an Ohio governor and the Ohio Department of Heath to mandate people require people to quarantine if they aren't sick or have been exposed to a virus such as COVID-19.  The bill easily passed today, but it now goes to Gov. DeWine.   He has vowed to veto the bill if were to ever come to his desk.

DeWine's official governor Twitter account, which is maintained by his staff, sent out several tweets today about Senate Bill 311 before it had passed.  He gave examples of situations where Bill 311, if it were law, He said it was well-intentioned by the General Assembly, but when you look at the ramifications, it cannot become law.  He said that he would veto it.
