Warren County Teachers Won't Receive COVID-19 Vaccine Next Week
The first Ohio teachers will begin receiving COVID-19 vaccines on Monday with 91,000 educators expected be vaccinated next week. When the list of districts who will be receive doses was released yesterday, none of Warren County's school districts were on the list.
Warren County isn't the only one not listed. Only schools in 12 of Ohio's 88 counties are on the list. That doesn't mean teachers in all districts in those 12 counties will receive vaccines next week. Cincinnati Public Schools was the only district in Hamilton County to make the list. The county with the most teachers set to receive a vaccination next week is Franklin County, which is the county where Columbus is located.
The only county that is currently at a Level Four Public Emergency (purple) on Ohio Health Advisory System is Hamilton County.
