CARLILSE, OH -- It's not officially baseball season until Cincinnati throws a parade! You can't find it on the calendar, but make no mistake: Opening Day is baseball's annual festival and nowhere is it celebrated like it is in the Queen City.
The 106th Findlay Market Opening Day Parade on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 had a 160 entrants in the parade. With a total of more than 130,000 participants and hundreds of thousands of Cincinnati Red's fans watching the parade. The parade had a float with Cincinnati's Olympic athletes, and 16 marching bands — that includes nearly 1,500 student/musicians.

John Oliver, band director at Carlisle Local Schools for the past 10 years, along with his assistant Kyle Schuckmann of 7 years, took 70 students to perform in the Opening Day Parade for the 3rd year. This event is something everyone looks forward to yearly.

Sunny, with a high of 25 and low of 5 degrees. Sunny during the morning, cloudy for the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Seriously? How about we federalize the National Guard and send them in to round up all the folks that are breaking the law, and let ICE do their job of maintaining the law? Hope you enjoy the redistricting next election, Mr. Landsman.
