FRANKLIN, OH -- The City of Franklin Police put out a Driver Awareness Notice yesterday after a wild hog has been reported in the area of State Route 123 near I-75 in Franklin.
According to the Franlin Ohio Division of Police Facebook Page, a Warren County Humane Officer has placed a feeder near the Wendy’s restaurant in an effort to safely contain and capture the animal.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling in the area, particularly during the early morning and evening hours when wildlife activity is often increased.
Franklin Police noted that... "if you observe the hog, please do not approach it or attempt to capture it yourself. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as efforts continue to safely resolve the situation."
