WARREN COUNTY, OH — With Election Day just one day away, nearly 50,000 Warren County residents have already cast their ballots through early in-person voting or absentee voting by mail, according to data from the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office.
The state's Absentee and Early Voting Dashboard shows that 34,379 Warren County residents voted early in person, while another 17,881 absentee ballots were issued by mail.
Of those mailed ballots, 15,496 have been returned, representing an 87% return rate.
Combined, the figures show that 49,875 Warren County voters have already participated in the Nov. 3 general election, representing approximately 28% of the county's 177,402 currently registered voters. (According to Brian Sleeth, Warren County's Deputy Director of Elections, the number of registered voters changes as voter rolls are updated, including the removal of deceased voters. The board plans to finalize its voter registration total on Election Day, Nov. 3, and update the figure on its election results website.)

Unlike early in-person voting, which takes place at a designated early voting location, Election Day voters must report to their assigned precinct polling location. Residents who are unsure where they are supposed to vote can find their precinct and polling location through the Warren County Board of Elections website.

Ohio law allows anyone who is in line at their designated polling location by 7:30 p.m. to cast a ballot, even if they have not reached the voting booth when the polls officially close.
Residents voting in person must bring an acceptable, unexpired photo identification, such as an Ohio driver's license, Ohio state identification card, U.S. passport or qualifying military identification.
Those who still have an absentee ballot must ensure it is received by the Warren County Board of Elections no later than 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Regular absentee ballots cannot be returned to an Election Day precinct polling location.
(The Early Voting and Absentee Voting figures are preliminary and could change as additional absentee ballots are received and processed.)
