WARREN COUNTY, OH — ICRC-TV, the regional community media organization that provides television coverage of Lebanon City Council meetings and other Warren County programming, has earned five honors at the 2026 Philo Festival of Media Arts.

The awards, presented Oct. 28 at the Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids, Michigan, recognized outstanding community media productions from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky. This year's competition attracted 141 entries.

Among ICRC-TV's winning productions were two with direct Warren County connections.

A Belated Welcome: Vietnam Veterans, 50 Years Later, a documentary produced in partnership with the city of Mason, received two awards, including the prestigious George Stoney Community Impact Award and an award in the nonprofessional documentary category.

The documentary honors Vietnam veterans and recognizes their experiences and service more than five decades after the war.

ICRC-TV also received an award for its professional sports coverage of the Turpin vs. Lebanon high school football game.

Other honors included an award for A Year to Remember: St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Athletics 2024–2025, produced in partnership with the school district, and an Excellence in Graphics and Animation award for ICRC's 2025 high school football graphics package.

The George Stoney Community Impact Award, named for a pioneer of public-access television, recognizes programming that strengthens communities by giving local residents a voice and preserving stories that might otherwise go untold.

"These awards reflect the talent and dedication of our team, but they also speak to the value of the work we do in our communities," said Jason Dudley, ICRC-TV executive director.

"Local stories deserve to be told, whether that means preserving the experiences of veterans, celebrating student athletes, or helping residents stay informed about decisions that affect their lives. Community media makes sure those stories are seen and heard, and we're proud to play a role in that."

ICRC-TV's Connection to Lebanon

For Lebanon residents, ICRC-TV has become a familiar part of local government coverage.

In September 2022, Lebanon City Council approved an agreement with the organization to provide programming for the city's Channel 6 and online platforms beginning in January 2023.

The arrangement includes coverage of City Council meetings, The City Show, the annual Lebanon Carriage Parade and other community programming.

Through its television broadcasts, livestreaming and on-demand videos, ICRC-TV allows residents to follow local government decisions and community activities even when they cannot attend in person.

ICRC-TV operates as a regional council of governments serving 22 member communities throughout Greater Cincinnati. Its work includes government transparency, video production, media education and community programming.

Residents can watch Lebanon City Council meetings and other local programming through ICRC-TV's Lebanon page.

ICRC-TV also provides coverage of Mason City Council and Mason City Schools Board of Education meetings, visit www.icrctv.com/communities/mason to access recordings of local government and school board proceedings.
