HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, WARREN COUNTY, OHIO --The Cincinnati/Dayton division is proud to announce the grand opening of the new Hamilton Township Marketplace on Thursday, December 12. The celebration will begin at 7 a.m. where long-tenured associates will open the doors to the new store located at 148 East Towne Center Blvd., Maineville, Ohio 45039 to welcome the community.
“The Hamilton Township Kroger Marketplace will offer customers a Full, Fresh and Friendly experience from the moment they walk in our doors,” said Ann Reed, Cincinnati/Dayton division president. “Customers will enjoy the new look and design of the store with an expanded selection of products and services for a true one-stop shopping experience. We are grateful to the local leaders in Hamilton Township and Warren County for their collaboration to bring this new investment to the area.”
The marketplace is a relocation of the Rivers Bend Kroger, which opened on December 9, 2001.
Construction on the 123,000 square-foot store began in the summer of 2023 and is a $39 million investment in southwest Ohio. It includes many of the features customers recognize including enhanced Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat, Seafood, and Sushi departments, a Murray’s Cheese shop, Starbucks, Pharmacy, The Little Clinic and apparel. The nine-pump Fuel Center opened in September 2024.
The grand opening ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m. and feature the Kings Local High School Band and remarks from Hamilton Township elected officials and the Southern Warren County Chamber of Commerce.
Special activities and celebrity appearances from local fan favorite mascots Who Dey, Rosie Red, Mr. Redlegs, Gapper, the UC Bearcat and Tony the Tiger will take place during the grand opening weekend.
Customers can sample products from a variety of brands and sign up to win one of the following prizes: (4) Behind-the-Scenes passes to the Newport Aquarium, (4) tickets to the Cincinnati Zoo, (4) tickets to Kings Island WinterFest, $50 Gift Certificate to Valley Vineyards or a Tee 18 Golf Gift Basket. Customers can also guess the dollar amount of groceries in the mega bascart and win a $250 Kroger gift card.
