MASON, OH -- Mason's Michele Abrams got in front of the camera again, after retiring from hosting Warren County Community Service's Feelin' Good show back in 2025. Abrams worked with ICRC-TV to help highlight the opening of the USS Cincinnati Memorial & Peace Pavilion at Voice of America Metro Park, which officially opened Memorial Day weekend.
Abrams spends about a half-hour talking with Bob Viney, vice chairman of the Submarine Cincinnati Memorial Association, about the public opening. In the video, Viney shares about the project's efforts from the very beginning, the attractions the site has to offer, and future ambitions for the memorial.

Overcast, with a high of 81 and low of 65 degrees. Overcast for the morning, heavy rain overnight.
The rain this Friday is the reason I finally read the whole Thursday-to-Wednesday list instead of stopping at the headline. If you are coming from Lebanon or Mason, the useful split is indoor rooms versus anything that still depends on a patio. Heather's "On the Patio" is a great Thursday habit when it is dry.
