CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Monday December 22, 2025, will mark Clearcreek Township Trustee Ed Wade's final township trustee meeting after 48 consecutive years as a Clearcreek Township Trustee. Wade’s lengthy run of 12 consecutive, four-year trustee terms began on January 1, 1978. He has faithfully served in that capacity since, begin re-elected as township trustee every four years.
Wade will preside over the meeting, which starts at 9 a.m. at the township administration building located at 7593 Bunnell Hill Road, for the final time. A graduate of Springboro High School and a lifelong resident of Clearcreek Township, Wade was the founding president of the Springboro Chamber of Commerce in 1976 and continues to serve as an honorary board member. Additionally, Wade served on the Warren County Regional Planning Commission and chaired the organization for many years.
After Monday’s meeting, the Township will host a ceremony in Mr. Wade’s honor at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fire Station 24, located at 735 Gardner Road, Springboro, Ohio. Mr. Wade’s family and friends, along with the many, many people he’s worked with and alongside over the decades have been invited to join in celebrating his time and legacy over nearly a half century of public service.
