Springboro Arts Council to Dedicate New Bronze Plaque and Lighting at Origins Mural

SPRINGBORO, OH --The Springboro Arts Council invites the community to celebrate the dedication of a newly installed bronze plaque and lighting at Origins, Springboro’s first public mural. The ceremony will take place Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at 15 S. Main Street in historic downtown Springboro.

Created in 2025 by internationally acclaimed artist Lula Goce, Origins celebrates Springboro’s rich history and founding values. The mural represents a significant milestone in the community’s commitment to public art, cultural enrichment, and preservation of its heritage.

The original mural was made possible through proceeds from ArtFest on Main’s Dinner on Main 2024, with additional contributions from the City of Springboro and the Springboro Chamber of Commerce. The newly installed bronze dedication plaque and lighting were funded through proceeds from Dinner on Main 2026, continuing the community’s investment in this landmark public artwork.

“This has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding projects I’ve been part of in Springboro,” said Julie Beall, President of the Springboro Arts Council. “Public art gives us something to enjoy today and something meaningful to leave for future generations. Through Dinner on Main, ArtFest on Main, the Springboro Arts Council, and the generosity of our volunteers and sponsors, we’re making art a lasting part of Springboro’s story. I love this mural, and I love what it represents for our community.”

Following the mural’s original ribbon-cutting in 2025, this dedication celebrates the completion of these enhancements while recognizing the generosity, collaboration, and community support that continue to make public art possible in Springboro.

Representatives of the Springboro Arts Council, Springboro Mayor John H. Agenbroad, and the Springboro Chamber of Commerce are expected to participate in the ceremony.

The event is free and open to the public. Community members, local businesses, Dinner on Main supporters, and visitors are encouraged to attend.
