It is playoff time for the high schools in Ohio. This year, the Ohio High School Athletic Association said that every team will make the playoffs, which started on Friday. Unless they had earned a bye, teams would have to win their first-round matchup to make it to the regional quarterfinals.
Lebanon has been eliminated in the first round. Franklin, Springboro, Mason and Little Miami have advanced to the regional quarterfinals.
Carlisle beat Summit Country Day School with a score of 28-21. The Indians will face Roger Bacon on Saturday.
Franklin defeated Butler with a score of 14-6. The Wildcats will play 5-2 Memorial on Oct. 16
Springboro advanced in the playoffs with defeating Findlay by a score of 28-19. The Panthers will face 7-0 Dublin Coffman on Oct. 16.
Mason defeated Lebanon with a score of 34-16. The Warriors are eliminated from the playoffs. The Comets will face 5-2 Colerain on Friday, Oct. 16.
Kings will play 3-4 Talawanda on Friday, Oct. 16.
Little Miami beat Loveland with a score of 48-40. The Panthers will travel to play 4-2 La Salle on Friday.
