WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Two Warren County businesses are among 10 companies selected as honorees for the Goering Center for Family & Private Business’ 2026 Family and Private Business Awards.
Appro-Rx, headquartered in Waynesville, and Knox Manufacturing Solutions, based in Franklin, were named to this year’s list of honorees recognizing outstanding family-owned and privately held businesses throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
The Goering Center, which is affiliated with the University of Cincinnati, said the annual awards recognize businesses demonstrating excellence in areas including strategic planning, sustained growth, innovation, leadership and community impact.
Appro-Rx is a pharmacy benefit manager that works with self-funded employers across the country. The company was founded by Kyle Fields and is headquartered at 415 S. Main St. in Waynesville. The company says it serves nearly 900 employer clients across all 50 states.
Knox Manufacturing Solutions, located at 375 Industrial Drive in Franklin, was founded in 1996 by Greg Knox. The company provides CNC machinery, service and support, training, automation equipment and other manufacturing solutions.

In addition to recognizing the 10 honorees, the Jeff Wyler family will be inducted into the Family and Private Business Award Hall of Fame.
The 27th annual Family and Private Business Awards celebration is scheduled for Sept. 15 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati. Baseball Hall of Fame broadcaster and longtime Cincinnati Reds radio voice Marty Brennaman is scheduled to serve as emcee.
For more than 25 years, the Goering Center has used the annual awards program to recognize family and privately held companies for business performance, leadership, longevity and community commitment.
