Harding Museum Hosts Second Hometown Holiday Celebration Dec. 13
Franklin Area Historical Society's Harding Museum will welcome the community for its second Hometown Holiday on Saturday, Dec. 13, from noon to 5 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a full afternoon of seasonal festivities, including children’s crafts, refreshments, raffles, and a gift shop featuring local artisans.
Live music will fill the museum during the afternoon, with performances by Franklin High School acapella groups at 1 p.m. and Jennifer and Anna Eyink at 4:30 p.m. Additional musical acts will be announced. Santa will make a special appearance from 2 to 4 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to support the community by donating new children’s socks for Shoes for the Shoeless and help fill the museum’s giant holiday stocking. Organizers say the professionally decorated museum is “stunning” this year.
The event is sponsored by Ruppert, Bronson, and Ruppert; Harrison's Pro Tree Service; Buddy's Garden; and Anderson Funeral Home. The museum is at 302 Park Ave., Franklin. Those with questions should call (937) 746-8295.
