Mary’s Meals hosts the second annual Concert for a Cause event in Central Ohio to raise awareness and funds for its mission to provide daily meals to children in school settings, encouraging education and long-term community development.

There’s a global crisis: millions of children are hungry and it’s keeping them out of school. In 2025, it was found that at least 118 million children faced hunger. When kids don’t have enough to eat, they often can’t attend school, or if they do, they’re too hungry to focus and learn. Mary's Meals addresses both problems at once by providing a daily meal at school. That simple approach helps bring children into the classroom, keeps them there, and gives them a real chance at an education. School meal programs like this are widely recognized as one of the most effective, low-cost ways to fight hunger and improve access to education by helping break the cycle of poverty.
