LEBANON, OH -- On Saturday, December 6 2025, prepare for a magical experience as the quaint historic town of Lebanon, Ohio kicks off the holiday season with its 36th annual Horse-Drawn Carriage Parade & Festival. 

Hosted by the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, the event features two parade times, plus a full day of entertainment, shopping and festive wonder that goes from  10 AM - 8 PM, with  two chances to catch the parade:

  • Daylight procession at 1 p.m.and 
  • Candle-lit spectacle at 7 p.m.

What to expect

From around 10 a.m. until the night parade concludes, downtown Lebanon becomes a holiday wonderland, especially when the 90 plus carriages, drawn by majestic breeds such as Clydesdales and Percherons, glide down Broadway Street, each beautifully adorned with garlands, ribbons and lights during the parade. 

Along with the parade, festival-goers can explore more than 80 antique and specialty shops, dine in one of the town's many restaurants, or indulge in seasonal treats from food trucks and vendors. Also, Santa & Mrs. Claus along with delightful mini-Highlander cows will be at Bicentennial Park, next to the Christmas Market..

As the Lebanon Horse Drawn Carriage and Christmas Festival is free. Visitors are encouraged to: 

  • Arrive early to enjoy the market, explore local businesses and find a great viewing spot for the parades. A free shuttle service will run from Lebanon North Plaza, 920 Columbus Ave. to 300 E. Silver St.
  • Dress warmly and in layers — December evenings can get crisp and the candlelight parade at 7 p.m. is especially magical but chilly.

  • Make a full day of it: spend the afternoon wandering the festival, doing some shopping, enjoying live music — then stay for the evening parade under the stars.

Free Parade Shuttle Drop-Off! A free shuttle to transport attendees around the parade loop is being offered by The Warren County Transit. Here are some important details:

  • Shuttle Stops: 
    • Lebanon North Plaza 920 Columbus Ave, Lebanon, OH 45036 & 
    • OhioMeansJobs Building 300 E Silver St, Lebanon, OH 45036
    • Shuttle Hours: 10 AM – 9 PM. The last ride will board promptly at 9 PM..
  • While you're riding, don't miss the beautiful live nativity scene and open house at the Presbyterian Church, where you can also grab hot chocolate and cookies (5 PM – 7 PM)
