To the Editor:
This November, voters in Ohio's 1st Congressional District have an important choice to make, and I believe Eric Conroy deserves serious consideration.
Eric Conroy is not a typical candidate. Eric was raised on the west side of Cincinnati to a working, blue collar family, like many others on the west side. He graduated from Elder High School, where he learned the values of hard work and team camaraderie playing sports all four years. He attended the U.S. Air Force Academy where he graduated with honors and became a captain. He went on to serve as an Air Force intelligence officer stationed in Okinawa Japan, and the Pentagon. Following his service to the military, he went on to continue his service in the CIA as a case officer, working in the Middle East and in Eastern Europe. Continuing his “service before self” approach. This kind of experience is rare in Washington and would be extremely valuable during a time when border security, and foreign military threats are front and center in the national conversation.
Beyond his “service before self” record, Conroy has built his campaign around kitchen-table concerns that matter to families here in Southwest Ohio: growing local jobs, making life more affordable, and revitalizing Main Street businesses that have struggled in recent years. Eric understands the needs of the district, the importance of lowering inflation to make life more affordable and allow the community to prosper.
Voters should look closely at Eric’s platform and record of service. For those who value a representative with real-world experience, a personal stake in this community, and a willingness to revitalize our economy, Eric Conroy is the choice for you when you vote this November.
Sincerely,
Sandra Krist of Maineville, Ohio
