WARREN COUNTY, OH — Students and individuals interested in gaining firsthand experience in government and public service have an opportunity to work in a congressional office this spring.

U.S. Rep. Greg Landsman (D-Ohio) announced in his recent newsletter that his office is accepting applications for internship positions for the Spring 2027 semester.

Internship opportunities are available at both his Cincinnati district office and his Washington, D.C., office, giving applicants the chance to learn about the responsibilities of a member of Congress and the work involved in serving constituents.

According to Landsman's announcement, interns will have opportunities to assist with constituent services, legislative research, communications and community outreach.

Those working in the Cincinnati office may gain experience with the local side of congressional operations, including how congressional staff members assist residents with federal government-related concerns and connect with the communities they represent.

The Washington, D.C., office provides an opportunity to gain insight into the federal legislative process and the work that takes place on Capitol Hill.

The internships offer participants an opportunity to develop professional skills, learn more about government operations and explore potential careers in public service, communications and public policy.

The deadline to submit applications is Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026.

Individuals interested in applying or learning more about the internship opportunities can visit Congressman Landsman's official website at landsman.house.gov and select the internships section.

Landsman represents Ohio's 1st Congressional District, which includes portions of Hamilton and Warren counties.
