MASON, OH -- August 22–23, the energy across the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason
reaches another level with Finals Weekend. It's do or die, winner takes all, with both men's and women's singles champions crowned on Sunday. It’s the culmination of two unforgettable weeks as the world’s best players compete for the coveted Rookwood Cup.
And, the spectacle extends far beyond the court. Along with all the exclusive Finals Weekend merchandise, there will be musical performances and an on-site experience totally different from the rest of the tournament.
The Cincinnati Open was named ATP Masters 1000 Tournament of the Year following a $260 million campus transformation done in partnership with the City of Mason, Warren County and the State of Ohio. That project doubled the venue’s acreage, which allowed for the tournament to grow to 96-player singles fields. This marks the first time the tournament has received this global recognition.
A 1000-level tournament on both the ATP and WTA Tours, the Cincinnati Open is one of five events to host these top-tier men’s and women’s fields during the same week, joining Madrid, Rome, Miami and Indian Wells, Calif.
