MASON, OH — Fall has arrived in Warren County, bringing with it a colorful transformation of one of Mason's scenic outdoor destinations, Pine Hill Lakes Park.

Local photographer Rex captured the beauty of the season in a collection of photographs showcasing the park's peaceful lakes, wooded trails and brilliant autumn foliage.

Shades of golden yellow, fiery red and orange reflect across the calm water, creating picture-perfect scenes that remind visitors why autumn is such a special time of year in Southwest Ohio.

The photographs also capture some of the simple pleasures the park offers — a fisherman enjoying a quiet moment along the water's edge, families taking an afternoon stroll, ducks gathering on the lake and a wooden footbridge inviting visitors to explore the surrounding woods.

As cooler temperatures settle into the area and the leaves continue to change, Pine Hill Lakes Park provides a beautiful setting to slow down, enjoy the fresh air and appreciate nature close to home.

Sometimes, the best fall scenery doesn't require a long drive. It can be found right here in Warren County.

The 82-acre park that features two fishing lakes, walking trails, picnic shelters and a playground, is located at  211 Kings Mills Rd, Mason. The park is located just south of East Main Street (U.S. 42) in Mason.

Hours: Open during daylight hours.
