DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH -- The theme for this week's Tech Free Tuesday is WILD ABOUT WATER at Landen-Deerfield Park! Melissa Proffitt and interns from WC Soil & Water Conservation District will be helping to lead this program in the middle of the park with lots of fun activities to do.
Along with the SPLASH PAD being open to help promote this week's theme Wild About Water, signage will be placed at the back of the park so that the explorers can visit Simpson Creek on their own.
If they missed Creeking Week, this would be a great chance to check it out, noted Warren County Certified Naturalist Shannon Pennington.
Also, Bill Schroeder, local author of Smallmouth Sonny of Bass Island Bar, will be there with a Storybook Stroll and FREE BOOKS for kids, courtesy of Little Miami Conservancy!
Last week, Tech Free Tuesday was held at Armco Park where participants had Fun in the Sun, as they took the path around the Solar Pollinator Discovery Trail to discover the different flowers and insects that call this area their home.
After this week's program, there are still five more Free-Tech Tuesday's to enjoy before the end of the 2022 Summer.
