Similar to what newspapers in the 19th Century did the www.warrencountypost.com. will publish a chapter a day from the book Deceptions in the Air. This fictional book is a blend of reality and conspiracy with a mix of Biblical Prophecy. My hope is that you enjoy the story, while it puts a desire in your heart to seek Truth.

Chapter 24: The Taping

Back in the studio, the 22-minute-tape-segment went quickly. Bri did not mention the Blue Beam Project. Instead, the two talked about and showed clips of how holograms have been used in military combat, the entertainment world, and more recently, the refurbishing of the Statue of liberty.

“That was fun... And, they really pay you for this, Bri?”

“Funny! I have been reading so many science magazines, watching so many YouTube videos, and have spent hours on the Internet researching words and organizations that I’ve never even heard of in my life until now. Yes, I get paid for this!”

“Not to change the subject,” Alex smiled. “But what time do department stores open? I know you probably didn’t bring any beach attire with you. And, I promised to take you shopping last night. Remember?”

Bri about fell over. In her 47 years, she didn’t ever remember shopping with a man for women’s clothing, except for Jack, but he was more like a girlfriend than a boyfriend.

“You really want to go shopping?” Bri asked.

“Sure, why not? Many years ago my ex would drag me with her to the stores. Is this not normal?” he asked, somewhat embarrassed that he had asked to go shopping with her.

“I don’t know. Jack goes with me sometimes, but he’s been known to try on some of the same outfits that I’m trying on, so it’s more like shopping with a girlfriend… if you know what I mean?” Bri explained as they headed out the studio doors.

“No... not really,” Alex said holding the door open for her. “But Jack is definitely created from a different mold than me.”

Bri made her round to say goodbye and thank-you to everyone at the station for making her feel so welcome while Alex went to get his car.

“Russ, thank you so much for your great hospitality.”

Bri extended her hand. But rather than a shake, Russ handed her a small package.

“Here’s a little present for you. Don’t open it now. Wait till you get back to your hotel room to pack for the beach,” Russ said.

“Russ, thank you. You didn’t need to do that.”

Bri placed the small package inside her purse as she walked with Russ and Jack to the door to meet Alex, who was patiently waiting for her in his car.

“Enjoy your shopping spree, Babe,” Jack said softly as he watched Alex drive her away.
