LEBANON, OH-- The Lebanon Theatre Company is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of Paul Slade Smith's delightful comedy, Unnecessary Farce, directed by Kurt Percy. Performances will run from August 30 to September 1 and September 6-8, with shows taking place Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 2 PM.

This comedic whirlwind features two cops, three crooks, and eight doors, creating a blend of chaos and laughter in a cheap motel room. An embezzling mayor is expected to meet with his female accountant, but confusion reigns as undercover cops attempt to catch them in the act. Audiences can expect a rollercoaster of absurd situations and humor that guarantees a fun outing for all.

"Directing Unnecessary Farce has been an exhilarating experience," said director Kurt Percy. "The cast's energy and comedic timing bring a fresh and hilarious take to this already brilliant script. We can't wait for the audience to join in the fun."
