Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Visits Southwest Ohio
WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Congressman Greg Landsman met with Deputy Secretary Andrea Palm of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services on her visit to Southwest Ohio last Friday. During her visit Landsman hosted a town hall at Ohio Living Llanfair to highlight efforts to reduce prescription drug prices and cap out-of-pocket costs for seniors.
Also during her visit, local leaders gathered for a roundtable discussion that was centered around children and families and ways HHS can assist.
"Bringing administration officials to our community is incredibly important. It’s an opportunity to share the great work Southwest Ohio groups are doing to make a difference. Furthermore, we get to share our hopes and priorities for these officials and their teams to take back to DC.," noted Landsman in his end of the week newsletter.
Earlier in the week Landsman stopped by the City of Loveland. There he met with city employees sharing how he and his administration had help to secure $745,000 for the Cherokee Drive Water Main Project. The money will be used to help install over 2,700 feet of new water main, replacing outdated lines ensuring residents with a reliable supply of safe water.
