Landsman’s Name Included in MN Murder Suspect Notes

WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Congressman Greg Landsman released the following statement after he was informed by Capitol Police his name appeared in evidence linked to the Minnesota Murder Suspect:

On Sunday morning, Capitol Police contacted my office to inform me that the FBI had found my name among the evidence collected during the search for a suspect in Minnesota – who is accused of murdering and seriously injuring lawmakers.

Since the suspect was still at large at that time, we worked very closely with the Cincinnati Police Department to arrange for increased security for my family and me. I’m extremely thankful to the Cincinnati Police Department for their quick assistance and to Capitol Police for their guidance.

We are relieved the suspect has been arrested. As this is an ongoing investigation, we want to keep you informed, but we do not currently have additional information to share. Please direct inquiries to U.S. Capitol Police.
