LEBANON, OH — Zac Haines, a successful business leader and former Trump nominee, has earned the endorsement of U.S. Representative Dave Taylor, who represents Ohio’s 2nd Congressional District.

“I’m proud to support Zac Haines for Ohio State Senate in the 7th District. Zac is a conservative businessman and political outsider who will bring proven leadership and new energy to Columbus,” said Rep. Taylor.

Haines is the CEO of DPA Buying Group and currently serves on Miami University’s Board of Trustees. He is seeking to succeed term-limited State Senator Steve Wilson in Ohio’s 7th Senate District, which includes all of Warren County and northeastern Hamilton County. The primary election is scheduled for May 5, 2026.

In addition to Rep. Taylor’s endorsement, Haines has received the endorsements of several prominent conservative leaders, including U.S. Representative Warren Davidson, former U.S. Representatives Steve Chabot, Brad Wenstrup, Bob McEwen, and Jim Renacci, as well as Ohio State Treasurer Robert Sprague and numerous local elected officials from Warren and Hamilton Counties.
