LEBANON, OH -- If you are driving up Columbus Avenue in Lebanon most days, you will pass a strip center and out front is a cute little van painted up as a pink iced donut. You have only to look at the center store to see THE DONUT SHOP, a local tradition since 1985.

Last year THE DONUT SHOP changed owners and at that time Rick and Natalie Ross became the new proprietors. Dropping by for a snack this week, I was happy to see all things were well.

There were lots of donuts and other pastries available ... even in mid afternoon! It's a hard choice to make a decision for not only do they have the traditional donuts, filled donuts and decorated ones, but they also offer cinnamon rolls, fritters, croissants and muffins just to name a few. And, all of the items are made fresh daily.

Getting a few minutes to chat with Rick Ross, the owner, I found out that they of course deliver in the cute van and work with local churches, groups and businesses weekly to get their donuts and pastries out into the community. So, possibly at your church “coffee,” you have already had a taste of The Donut Shop and didn’t even know it!
Plans are underway to expand the business, however ,that story is for another day.
Prices are budget friendly with Donut holes starting at $.50 and traditional glazed donuts starting at $1.63. Cinnamon Rolls are $3.55 Muffins $4.62 to give you a starting point. Coffee and soft drinks are available, and there are tables to “eat in.”
