LEBANON, OH -- Now that spring is here, road work begins... and Warren County's roads are no exception. The five towns to see work beginning in April are:
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP
Hamilton Township's Grog Run Road Bridge #147-0.47, over Grog Run, between Hampton Glen Lane and Harrison Road will be closed for rehabilitation for twelve (12) weeks, weather permitting, has already begun. It started on Monday, April 6, 2026.
The bridge rehabilitation will be constructed by Sunesis Construction Co., and the project is
funded with federal funds from the Bridge Formula Funding Program through the County
Engineer’s Association of Ohio.
The detour for the closure utilizes Grog Run Road (Stagge Road in Clermont County),
Dallasburg Road (O’Bannonville Road in Clermont County), and Murdoch-Goshen Road.
DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP
Innovation Way, between Socialville‐Fosters Road and Duke Blvd., shall be closed to traffic for the following three (3) Sundays between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm on
The closures are for the Criterium Bicycle Race. The detour for the closure will utilize Socialville‐Fosters Road and Duke Blvd.
WAYNE TOWNSHIP
Old Stage Road, between Bellbrook Road and Cook-Jones Road, will be closed beginning on Monday, April 13, 2026, for two (2) weeks, weather permitting. The closure is for a retaining wall repair which will be between addresses 8780 and 8827 Old Stage Road.
This work will be completed by the Wayne Township Road Department and Warren County Highway Department.
The detour for the closure will utilize Cook-Jones Road, SR42, and Franklin Road.
SALEM TOWNSHIP
A three-day closure on Roachester-Osceola Road in Salem Township, between US 22/SR 3 and 5308 Roachester-Osceola Road, will be closed beginning on Tuesday, April 14, weather permitting. The closure is for two culvert replacements.
The work will be completed by the Warren County Highway Department. The detour for the closure will utilize SR 132, Middleboro Rd, and US 22/SR 3.
CITY OF FRANKLIN
Franklin-Trenton Road Bridge #270-1.85 will close for 1 (one) week between Waterbury Drive and Sonny Lewis Way/Water Source Drive, will be closed beginning Monday, April 20, for one (1) week, weather permitting.
The closure is located just east of address 7250 FranklinTrenton Road. The closure is to complete all remaining work items for the Franklin-Trenton Road Bridge Replacement Project.
The construction will be completed by DDK Construction, Inc. The project is funded by the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) and the Warren County Engineer.
The detour for the closure will utilize Franklin-Madison Road, Chamberlain Road and SR123/Central Avenue.
