WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Help create an official tally for Warren County Armco Park during this worldwide citizen science event!

The in-person event is being held again this Sunday from 3-7pm  inside the heated Armco Park Jones Pavilion. This is being done to allow for adequate distancing and airflow.

Bird feeders will be stationed outside the windows so guests can observe from inside with park staff and volunteers available to help. While there participants can:

  • Learn birding skills
  • Watch birds at feeders and around the park
  • Make nutritious “Zick suet” bird food

Bring binoculars if you have a pair, if not don't worry you can borrow some of ours.

If the weather is good, which according to the weather app it will be sunny and 52, hikes will be offered.

An outdoor alternative is also available, too. Participants are welcome to collect a tally sheet from an outdoor box, take a walk through the park, record observations, and drop off the tally sheet when done.

This self-guided activity will be available during normal park hours from Fri 2/18- Mon 2/21.

Jones Pavilion is located within Armco Park at 1223 State Rt. 741, Lebanon, OH 45036
