Em's Story is a coming of age story that follows Em who is smart, active, and engaged in her community as she develops a disability and her life changes both slowly and all at once. The production abstracts time and space, forming a collage of Em's experiences, compelling the audiences to experience the story as Em does while grappling with chronic pain, brain fog, fatigue, other symptoms, and an unsupportive community while finding her own identity.
