MASON, OH -- "Our First Responders have played a vital role in helping the Mason community through the Covid-19 Pandemic. After a great summer, we felt it was time to show a small token of appreciation and recognize their efforts," said Ronald Gulaskey of Retire Wealth Management Team.

To show their thanks and gratitude, Gulaskey and his team have worked with area businesses to create this Thursday (Sept., 29) as Mason Community First Responder's Appreciation Event.

Starting at 3pm and running until 7pm, area businesses will be setting up stations at Long Cove Point at 5506 Irwin-Simpson Rd., in Mason.

The local businesses will be distributing "thank you" items to the event goers to show their appreciation to the Mason Police, Fire, and EMS personnel for their dedication and hard work to keep its citizens and visitors to the city safe.

"Local vendors are coming out to support our heroes and generously offering free food, drinks, and more," explained Katie Montgomery of Retire Wealth Management Team.

Businesses that are scheduled to attend to make this event possible are:

  • Glier's Meats
  • Kroger
  • Dickey's BBQ Pit
  • Honey Baked Ham
  • Starbucks
  • Bea's Flowers
  • Stretch Lab
  • Sonder Brewing
  • Mike's Car Wash
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes
  • Orangetheory Fitness

Montgomery explained this is the first time they have ever put on an event like this, and it's been uplifting to see how the other businesses wanted to get involved to thank and show their appreciation to the city's First Responders.

The event is opened to the Mason Community as well as its First Responders. "Come stop by for an evening of fun," Montgomery noted.
