FINE INDIAN CUISINE IS CLOSE TO HOME

MASON, OH -- It was a great opportunity this month to visit RAJA A FINE INDIAN CUISINE for lunch. Located at 6188 Tylersville Road, RAJA is a lovely clean and quiet restaurant in a busy area and was a nice change from the regular fast food lunch spots in the area.

A small buffet during lunch hours can get you in and out quickly, too. The buffet was a real draw to us as we enjoy a lot of different kinds of Indian foods. The RAJA specializes in Northern Indian cuisine, which are dishes like Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Saag etc. The Buffet has 6 entrees (some vegetarian), rice, fried bread and naan bread. Also there are relishes, salad and choice of 2 desserts. Return trips are welcome !

We went during the mid-hours of the buffe,t and the food tasted just as fresh as if the food had been just placed out. Tables were nice with white tablecloths and service was prompt for drinks. Wine and beer are available.

The buffet lunch hours are 11am – 3pm everyday. Dinner (no buffet) is everyday 4:30-9:30. Dinner Specials include a Raja Indian Special with a large sampler tray for 2 at $22.99 in addition to the regular Indian dishes. Vegetarian version of this is $21.99.

Lunch Buffet is $17.00 per person + Tax and Tip. With Soft Drink or Tea, you will be spending $20.00 + Tax and Tip. Although this is a bit pricey for some budgets, this is a great place for a special lunch or those who love Indian food and a great place for your “main meal.” And remember, it IS a buffet, so you will get as much as you can eat !

We definitely enjoyed our lunch at RAJA and do plan on coming back in the future.
