CINCINNATI OPEN VOLUNTEER AND BALL CREW REGISTRATION HAS OPENED

MASON, OH --  Volunteer and ball crew registration for the 2026 Cincinnati Open is now open. Founded in 1899, the Cincinnati Open is an ATP Masters 1000 and a WTA 1000 tournament. In 2025, the Cincinnati Open was named the Tournament of the Year by both the ATP and WTA. To obtain this high achievement,  the Cincinnati Open credits its many volunteers.

Each year, more than 1,600 volunteers play a vital role in supporting operations and helping create an exceptional experience at the heart of tennis for players, fans, and partners. 

To be a part of this great team of volunteers a person is required to work a minimum of six shifts throughout the tournament, August 11-23. There are 30 volunteer committees in 2026, ranging from marshals and hospitality volunteers to transportation and ushers.

To be a  ball crew member the individual must be 12 years old by August 1, 2026, and are required to be available during the first six days of the tournament (Aug 11-16, 2026).

2025 VOLUNTEER STATS

  • 1,607 volunteers
  • From 35 states and 8 countries (Argentina, Canada, Costa Rica, Great Britain, France, Singapore, Spain and the US)
  • Collectively, these volunteers dedicated 91,350 hours and represented a combined 8,947 years of service
