Team Building Was The Theme For Carlisle Local School's Professional Day
CARLISLE, OH --During the Carlisle School District's Professional Day on September 20th , the entire Carlisle School Staff, which included teachers, educational aides, bus drivers, custodians, kitchen workers, and office staff, all came together to work on team building.
The event took place at Camp Chautauqua. Staff was sorted randomly into groups, with the secondary staff attending five stations of team building in the morning and the elementary staff attending the same five stations in the afternoon. ALL joined together for a taco bar lunch served by the Camp Chautauqua staff and with the help of Carlisle's JH volleyball team and NHS members.
During lunch raffle prizes were drawn from local businesses who donated prizes for the day. A special thanks to the following sponsors for supporting our staff:
- Valley Real estate and Craig Harris,
- Mary Kay by Mindy Spicer,
- Peoples Bank,
- Simply Brown Tanning,
- Portraits by Tiffani,
- Dished!
- Carlisle Staff Wellness Committee.
The five stations all incorporated teamwork and support for each other as some staff overcame fears of heights with a leap of faith activity and a giant swing. Laughter, memories, and bonds were created throughout the fun day.
