DEERFIELD TWP., OH – Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, children's activities, food trucks, craft beer vendors and Rozzi Fireworks are planned for a fun family evening at Deerfield Township's Cottell Park on August 2, 2022, which happens to also be National Night Out.
(Every year on the first Tuesday in August, the U.S. celebrates National Night Out. On this day civilians, organizations, and police departments all over the country join hands to enhance the relationship between neighborhoods and communities.)
And what a way to celebrate National Night Out, as Deerfield Township and The Arts Alliance collaborate to host a free, fun filled community event. While the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, under the direction of conductor John Morris Russell, is the main event, there are several other activities planned for the evening.
Prior to the concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m., face painting, children's art activities, food trucks and craft beer will be available for purchase. Then, after the concert, Rozzi Fireworks will light up the sky. The schedule of events include:

INTERMISSION
Ample parking is available at Cottell Park that is located at 5847 Irwin Simpson Rd., with additional parking available at Northern Cincinnati Community Church, 6170 Irwin Simpson Rd. Guests may choose to walk to the park or take a complimentary shuttle.
While outside food and beverages are permitted in the park, a number of local food trucks will be available, along with Sonder Brewing and 16 Lots Brewing... two of Greater Cincinnati’s more popular craft beer vendors.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs for seating.
THE ARTS ALLIANCE
The Mission of The Arts Alliance is to bring art exposure, art education and cultural awareness to the Southwest Ohio region. Founded by current Executive Director, Meredith Raffel, in 2006, the organization is dedicated to enriching the community by welcoming local and regional visual and performing artists and supporting their efforts through collaboration and partnerships.
