Similar to what newspapers in the 19th Century did the www.warrencountypost.com. will publish a chapter a day from the book Deceptions in the Air. This fictional book is a blend of reality and conspiracy with a mix of Biblical Prophecy. My hope is that you enjoy the story, while it puts a desire in your heart to seek Truth.

Chapter 60: The Tripto the Condo

Jack used the GPS system in Dr. LeClaire’s car to get them to Alex’s condo. As they were driving, Brianna started giggling.

“What?” he asked. “What’s so entertaining about driving to our death-trap?”

“Don’t you find it odd I’m heading to my husband’s home... and I have never been there? I don’t have a clue where he lives. What his place looks like, if he’s a neat freak or a slob," she nervously laughed, while looking out the window.

Jack gave her a strange smile.

“Yeah, that is odd. Considering, if we were going to my house, you would know exactly where everything is... because you are the one who basically rearranged everything from the way I had it.”

Bri’s smile faded as she realized Jack was giving her a hint that she may have made a bad decision about marrying Alex.

“Okay, then, let’s just drop this topic and move onto what we will do first,” Bri quickly suggested, wanting to change the subject immediately.

“Bri, it sounds pretty simple. We go into his condo; go to his office, which is between his bedroom and living room; turn on the computer; put in all these different codes; click a few buttons here and there; turn off his lights; lock his door; climb back into the car and go back to Russ’s. Nothing too hard or complicated.”

“I know. I just feel like we are missing something.”

“Nope. That’s it!” Jack said.

“Oh... destroy the mother board,” she added.

“Oh yeah, the mother board... Hey, this is the road your family condo is on,” Jack said, giving Bri a pat on her leg.

Her heart began to beat a little faster. It just seemed so bizarre to be going into Alex’s home for the first time… Alex, her husband. And, he wasn’t the one going to be carrying her over the threshold, she was crossing it with Jack.

“My life is not normal,” she blurted.

Turning into Alex’s parking lot that sat adjacent to his condo, Jack turned towards Bri and politely asked, “Why in the world would you think your life should be normal when you aren’t?”

Bri shot Jack the look before asking, “Do you have the paper with the codes?”

“No. I gave it to you... I have the gun. Once we are finished here, I think we need to get your memory checked.”
