Similar to what newspapers in the 19th Century did the www.warrencountypost.com. will publish a chapter a day from the book Deceptions in the Air. This fictional book is a blend of reality and conspiracy with a mix of Biblical Prophecy. My hope is that you enjoy the story, while it puts a desire in your heart to seek Truth.

CHAPTER 63: The Illusions Grow

Eeriness began to fill the room as more holograms surrounded Bri and Jack, asking more questions, demanding more answers.

“Stop this nonsense. What are you doing here... and where is our master?” asked a voice from the back of the room.

Neither Bri nor Jack knew what to say or do... for neither was sure if holograms could cause them real physical harm.

“We are friends of Alex’s. He is very sick, and he sent us here to help,” Bri answered.

“He has never sent anyone before,” the voice answered, adding, “he often goes away from here for long periods of time, but we are always with him through our port. Why are we not with him now?”

The holograms began to gather tightly around Bri and Jack.

“Where’s the gun?” Jack asked nervously searching his pockets.

“Jack, I’m pretty sure that shooting bullets into illusions is not going to hurt them or help us!” Bri answered nervously.

“Quiet!” came the voice from the back as it hovered its way forward.

Both Bri and Jack stood there in awe and disbelief as they noticed the hologram moving forward was a hologram of Alex.

“Why would I have brought you to my created world? Who are you?” Hologram-Alex demanded.

“We’re friends of human Alex,” explained Bri.

“I have no true earthly friends. I only trust my friends in my world,” the hologram answered.

Bri walked over to the hologram to examine him more closely. She tried to look into its eyes, but all she saw was a black hole.

“An empty void,” she whispered.

Then she walked over to the hologram of her to look in its eyes.

“An empty void,” she whispered.

Walking back over to where Hologram-Alex was hovering, Bri spoke.

“You may not have any earthly friends that you can trust, but Alex does. And, that is who we are. We are his real friends. We are his friends who come in the name of Jesus… the True Living Jesus.”
