FRANKLIN, OH —Throughout his tenure, Denny Centers became a steady voice in the Franklin community, dedicating service to many roles including, Vice Mayor, Mayor, Chairman of the Finance Committee, Chair of the Public Works & Utility Committee, Government Affairs and Firing Range Committees, City Planning Commission and as Vice-Chair of the Franklin Regional Wastewater Treatment Board.
To recognize his achievements, The City of Franklin, Ohio has awarded Centers with a Key to the City.
“Whereas, in recognition of his distinguished service and lasting contributions, Mr. Centers will be awarded a Key to the City of Franklin, one of the community’s highest honors, symbolizing trust, gratitude, and appreciation for his decades of leadership” - The City of Franklin, Ohio’s Proclamation.
Throughout his wide-ranging contributions, Centers has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the community, combining his professional experience with his passion for public service. His leadership has left a lasting mark on Franklin, enhancing public spaces, supporting veterans, and fostering community pride. The City of Franklin, Ohio celebrated his achievements and dedication, honoring him with both symbolic recognition and the opportunity to lead the 2026 Independence Day Parade, a milestone event coinciding with America’s 250th birthday.
