The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program continues

LEBANON, OH -- The Ohio Department of Development and Warren County Community Services, Inc., will help income-eligible Ohioans with their water and wastewater bills. This program runs from October 1, 2023-March 31, 2024. Eligible clients are those at or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

To apply for the program, clients are required to schedule an appointment with Warren County Community Services, Inc., Emergency HEAP. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 513-970-6737 or online at https://wccs.itfrontdesk.com

Clients need to bring copies of the following documents to their appointment:

  • Copies of their most recent energy bills and water bill.
  • A list of all household members and proof of income for the last 30 days or 12 months for each member.
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency for all household members.
  • Proof of disability (if applicable).
  • Copy of Lease or Metropolitan/HUD worksheet.
  • SNAP benefit letter.

The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program is available. If you have a past due, disconnect with your water and/or wastewater, service has been shut off or new service is being established. We may be able to assist with a one-time payment. This program ends March 31, 2024.
