COLUMBUS, OH – State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) announces that $1,800,071.50 has been awarded to projects in Warren County, including improvements to the Warren and Lebanon Correctional Institutions,renovations to the Little Miami Scenic Trail and the Todd Fork Bridge in the Little Miami State Park. The State Controlling Board approved the measure during Monday’s meeting.
“These funds will keep our communities safe by improving our correctional facilities,” said Mathews. “We will also see the benefits throughout the county by investing in improving our parks and trails for everyone to enjoy.”
The items for Warren County approved this week included:
- $875,000 for renovations at the Warren Correctional Institution and Lebanon Correctional Institution;
- $109,631.50 to renovate the bridge on the Little Miami Scenic Trail located in Oregonia;
- $465,440 for the rehabilitation of the Todd Fork Bridge located at The Little Miami State Park;
- $350,000 for New Housing Ohio to purchase and renovate two existing apartment buildings in Franklin.
The next State Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for February 12, 2024.
