LEBANON, OH -- The Warren County Pubic Transit Service revised times and locations beginning this week for the Lebanon Loop. The service that runs Monday through Friday from 9:20 AM through 5PM gets its name as it loops the Lebanon Area.
The bus route loops around the county seat 5 times and has 19 automatic stops, going as far north as the Lebanon Walmart on State Route 42 and as far south as Rural King/Home Depot on Deerfield Rd. It also goes east as far as the Goodwill store on Main Street and as far west as Connie's Corner on Franklin Road close to Bently Woods Apartments on Franklin Road, which is also a scheduled stop.
According to the Warren County Ohio Board of Commissioner's Facebook Page and the Warren County Ohio Website, all times are approximate and dependent upon traffic conditions. It is also suggested that the riders should be at the stop 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
"Along with the numbered stops, boarding a bus is permitted anywhere along the Flag stop areas where traffic conditions permit, and the bus can safely pull out of Traffic," the Warren County Website explains adding, "To flag a bus, simply wave at the Driver and the bus will pull over and allow you to board."
Warren County Transit also offers route deviations. The deviations are allowed up to ¾ mile
from the mapped route but need to be requested by calling 1-888-297-0990 "no less than two business days prior to your requested Deviation," states the county website. Also, deviations are not guaranteed since they are subject to availability.
Warren County Transit also offers rides anywhere within Warren County, but they must be scheduled at least 48 hours prior in advance to request a Schedule Ride by calling 1-888-297-0990. Scheduled Rides are also available Monday through Friday but from 6 AM to 6 PM.
