A Two Session Summer Camp For Both Kids and Adults Being Offered At Harmon Museum
LEBANON, OH -- Registration closes Friday June 7 for Harmon's Art Summer Camp, which will run from Tuesday June 11 through Friday June 14 and is opened to both adults and kids. According to the museums Website www.wchsmuseum.org, the camp offers two sessions.
Session 1
10:30-12pm - Story Art: Playing with the Pages
Stories come to life in accordion, pop-up and tunnel books. Campers create books using traditional and non-traditional bookbinding techniques and transform used books into unique art. Stories will be added with print, collage, drawing and digital media. Each day we will explore the gallery, view artist books, listen to a story, and create story art.
Session 2
1-2:30pm - Paint with Cedric Michael Cox
Join acclaimed artist Cedric Michael Cox on a journey exploring and creating masterpieces with acrylic paints. Campers will also learn some of the awesome techniques Cedric uses in his own art. By the conclusion of the camp, your young artist will have artwork that not only captures the bold energy behind abstract art but also paintings that passionately celebrate your child's individual interest and character. Each day we will explore treasures in the galleries of Harmon Museum and listen to a story.
