Synthetic Turf Fields Are Offered At Armco Park Softball Complex

WARREN COUNTY, OH -- The Armco Park Softball Complex now has synthetic turf fields and is ready for summer softball leagues to begin. 

"Leagues are forming now," noted Matt Latham, Warren County Park District's CEO, adding that league fee is $300 with a one-time sanction fee of $30. A $60 deposit down secures your spot with the balance being due a week before the session starts. 

The 2024 Summer Schedule is: 

• Monday Leagues: 6/24 to 8/12 (sign up deadline 6/19)
• Tuesday Doubleheaders: 6/18 to 7/16 (sign up deadline 6/13)
• Thursday League: 7/18 to 9/5 (sign up deadline 7/11)
• Friday Co-Ed League: 8/2 to 9/13 (sign up deadline 7/26)

Umpires are paid $15 cash by the team at the time of the game and player mus hit their own WORTH balls which are sold at the park $75/dozen. There is also a $3 gate fee at the Softball Complex for spectators and players.
