WARREN COUNTY, OH -- The CancerFree KIDS 100 Mile Challenge presented by Chard Snyder, a 30-day fitness and fundraising campaign to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, returns for its fourth year, beginning today September 1. But it's not too late to register!
The concept is simple: do 100 miles of activity, from walking and running to gardening and yoga - and raise $100 to help kids with cancer. Participants can complete their miles doing any activity they prefer and along the way, will learn more about kids who have had or are currently battling cancer and why research is imperative to providing gentler, more efficient treatment options.
The 100 Mile Challenge has raised more than $450,000 to date, including $250,000 last year alone.
The $25 registration fee includes the 100 Mile Challenge t-shirt, finisher certificate and upon completion of the Challenge, participants receive their choice of a finisher’s medal or dri-fit long sleeve shirt. 100% of fundraising dollars will go to research.
Get moving and make a difference for kids battling cancer. To learn more visit cfk100milechallenge.org.
