WARREN COUNTY, OH -- During this week's winter storm, an OSHP trooper on I-71 was on the side of the road helping a stranded driver. While he was sitting inside his vehicle, the dash camera caught a car traveling too fast in the wintery conditions and smashing into the tow truck there to assist the stranded driver.
The two people standing beside the truck were narrowly missed.
"Too close for comfort!" starts the OSHP FB page where the video has been uploaded.
The video is being used to remind drivers... "We ask that you assist us, and all roadside workers, by proceeding with caution anytime you see flashing lights, no matter the color. #MoveOver if you can, but if you can't because of roadway or traffic conditions, then you must #SlowDown!"
