Warren County Park District Naturalists Teams Up With Local Libraries on "The Mitten" by Jan Brett

WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Warren County Park District Naturalists is teaming up with libraries throughout Warren County for programs based around The Mitten by Jan Brett. The Mitten: a Ukrainian folktale tells the story of a young boy asking his grandmother for white knitted mittens. While he is out and about one of his mittens has an adventure of its own with wild life.

Warren County Park District Naturalists will be brining mammal furs and track examples for the young readers to see first hand. There will furs and tracks that relate to the story as well as furs from other mammals that call Ohio home.
