LEBANON, OH -- Otterbein SeniorLife is pleased to announce the expansion of Otterbein Universal Hospice services into Franklin and Licking counties, extending its mission of compassionate, person-centered end‐of‐life care to more communities across the greater Columbus region
Otterbein Universal Hospice, part of the Otterbein SeniorLife organization, has a strong legacy of leadership in hospice care and is one of three Otterbein hospice agencies collectively serving 25 counties across Ohio.
“Our team has consistently earned a 5‐star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), which is the highest distinction for quality. Guided by our mission to enrich life journeys for all, we are honored to now provide exceptional, compassionate care to patients and families throughout Licking and Franklin counties,” said Cheryl Sowle, AVP, Home Health and Hospice at Otterbein SeniorLife.
This expansion aligns with Otterbein SeniorLife’s broader commitment to serving older adults wherever they live, whether in their own homes, or one of Otterbein’s Life Plan Communities, or in its innovative Small House Neighborhoods.
“Expanding Otterbein Universal Hospice allows us to deepen our roots in communities we already serve through our continuum of services, including assisted living, rehab and skilled nursing. Otterbein Hospice supports elders and their families anywhere they call home, and this regional expansion strengthens our commitment to meeting individuals where they are with comfort, dignity, and supportive care,” said Shonia Russelle, Vice President, Marketing & Communications at Otterbein SeniorLife.
