Lebanon, OH --The 2021 Holiday Season is here. Towns and cities across Warren County are lighting trees, decorating parks and having parades to usher in what one song highlights as being It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
Doing its part in making this time of the year wonderful is The City of Lebanon with its holiday festivities.
Friday evening the city flipped the switch that turned on the colorful lights that lit up the Christmas Tree and the Gazebo where Santa can sometimes be found during the holiday season.
It has been rumored that he comes in a week early so that he gets a good seat for the famous Horse Drawn Carriage Parade and Festival that, coincidentally, happens next Saturday, December 4th.
Children of all ages waited to stop in and see Santa to give him their wish list and get a photo with the famous giant and jolly elf.
Despite the chill in the air, Lebanon's finest were out assisting and watching over festive goers.
Strolling through the lighted pathway on their way to see Santa, a family stopped for a Warren County Post photographer to snap their picture.
The Lebanon Chamber of Commerce has been hosting The Horse Drawn Carriage Parade and Festival for over 30 years. This year the festivities start at 10 am and has both a day and evening parade scheduled.
The day parade starts at 1pm, and the evening parade that features lit up carriages and decorated horses starts at 7pm.
