WARREN COUNTY PARK DISTRICT, OH -- Now that summer has arrived, the Warren County Park District is ready to help kick off summer with Cops and Bobbers on Saturday June 4.
Open to the public, this FREE event starts at 8 am with the first 100 kids receiving a grab bag at check in.
The days events include:
- 830 am to 11 am — Fishing Derby
- 10 am to 12:30 — Kona Ice for purchase
- 11 am to Noon — Newport Aqaurium Stingray Exhibit
- 11:30 am — Lunch served (FREE Hot dog lunch for participants.)
- Noon — Fishing Derby Winner's announced
Winners will be announced for fish catches such as biggest Blue Gill, Bass, Catfish and some others in three different age groups:
- 6-years old & Under
- 7 through 11-years old
- 12 through 16-years old
Along with prizes for the biggest catch, there will be additional raffle prizes to win. Other activities that will be happening during the event, which will be held rain or shine are:
- Free Bank Fishing for Kids 16 & Younger
- Three Free Bounce Houses
- Free Archery & WC Sheriff Community Trailers
- Free Visits with Live Reptiles & Police K9
- Free “Fishing Fun” Activity with WC Soil & Water
